Reflections Drama

I said in my "About Me" spot on the top of my blog that I love acting. Our Drama club is called Reflections. This is a new club for homeschooled kids of all ages. We preformed Cheaper by the Dozen this past spring.
We had tryouts for our next production yesterday. We will be preforming I Remember Mama. Our play is titled after the movie, but it will really be more like Katrin's book, Mama's Bank Account. Our director already has the cast list. I will be playing Miss Grimes, the school principal. While I am not completely thrilled, shall we say, I am not at all disappointed in this role.
Now, back to the club itself.
Our director, Mrs Kim, is very talented in the Drama Business. :-) She has directed many plays, several for specific Homeschool Groups, and others open to any homechoolers who wish to act.  Reflections is open to any homeschooler. She came up with the name Reflections because our purpose is to Reflect God's Love through acting. We like referring to
I Peter 4:10-11, which says, "As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God. If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles of God; if any man minister, let him do it as of the ability which God giveth: that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be praise and dominion for ever and ever. Amen."

I will let you know the dates and times of our production as soon as I know them.
