God created the Sabbath. He created it for rest. A time to relax a bit, to rejuvenate, to spend time with our families, and most importantly, to worship Him.
My Sundays normally start with waking up (early) and (hurriedly) getting dressed for church in the morning. We are so very very very blessed here in America to be able to rise in the morning and call upon our Lord's name without having to fear being arrested or persecuted for our faith. I can only pray that it remains this way. We attend our worship service first. After that, Sunday school. (Which is awesome, by the way. Love my youth group and youth-leaders.) Following church, we either head over to my grandparent's for the afternoon, or come back home. Fellow-shipping with family. Hanging around the house relaxing. Occasionally having someone over for lunch. Watch a movie with the kiddos, eat a way-way-way-too-large lunch (or supper). That's what I love about Sundays.
Sunday evening we all head back to church for choir/the evening service. Then, families rotate to host dinner at their homes and all of us high-schoolers go and fellowship more over supper.
We get back home and go to sleep, totally refreshed and ready for Monday morning, kick-starting our week off right.
Craig Morgan's song, What I Love About Sundays. I love this sweet song.
