Writing Contest

Okay, so I've been wanting to do this for a while, but I have been pretty busy the last couple weeks, so I am just now getting around to it.

RULES

1. Your story MUST be 1000 words or less. 
2. Your story MUST be fictional. (It can be realistic, and can even have a real incident in it, but the characters/settings must be from your own creative ideas.
3. Submit your story HERE
4. When you submit your story, Please leave your FIRST name only.
5. When you submit your story, Please list the following features: 1) Your total word count, 2) your Main Character(MC), and a brief  description of your setting*

The 1st place winner will be crowned King or Queen of the
1-K WORD DASH !!!
  Second place will be crowned Prince/Princess of the 1-K WORD DASH

* this is optional. If you have well described your setting in your story this is not necessary.

POINTS will be scored as follows:

1. On Story-line originality--by being original with your plot.

2. On Word-usage/variety--use creative language

3. On Names--when writing fantasy/sci-fi, creative names are important

4. On Clarity--make sure the story is in proper order.

5. On TITLES-- this is a big one! Titles could be your winning points! :) Be creative here, too!

Note: Grammar usage will not be scored...but it would be a good idea to use grammar properly anyway so as to be Clear (see Point 4)
